First United Methodist Church invites the public to celebrate its pastor’s retirement on June 20. Rev Julie Poulsen will retire after 10 years serving in Jefferson and a total of 40 years in United Methodist Churches across Iowa. Closing worship and celebration will be June 20 at 11:30. Lunch for dine-in or carry out at will be available at 12:30. Those who want lunch should contact church office for reservations at 515-386-4411
A roast of Pastor Julie and special music by friends and family follows from 1 to 2 pm. Special music will be provided by Jamie Poulsen, Ted Poulsen, Gary Haupert and others.
